The Tracker DTS has revolutionised the avalanche transceiver industry. The Tracker's digital beacon uses a dual receiving antenna to capture the victim's signal, interprets it with its microprocessor then visually displays the distance and direction to the victim. It really is that simple - no steep learning curves, no convoluted search patterns, no earphones, no guesswork - just fast, accurate, life saving information. Batteries: 3 AAA alkalines. Battery life: minimum one hour in search mode after 200 hours in transmit (approx 250 hours transmit only or 50 hours search only)

| Angus | this led the way (literally) others still follow owning this unit for 4/5 seasons now & luckily never used it in anger. Great battery life, intuitive to use, BUT practice if you get the opportunity please or in the heat of the moment you might fail it & your buddies. hi-glow red leds, good one size fits all harness with comfy pouch, wear this all day without a problem. Have seen several entrants in competition whup others when racing to find the beacons utilising this model. ..which is why other brands try to copy it, the original rugged best! |
