I do not wish to imply that Yaktrax Walker & Yaktrax Pro are not good products but, in my opinion, all potential purchasers of this product should be advised first to read the Q & A page on Yaktrax own website http://www.yaktrax.co.uk/faq Instead of “Yaktrax Sizing Chart Sorry, no size information for this product!” they give detailed and sensible advice on that important matter. There is much else: for example, it is useful to know in advance that Yaktrax do not work on black ice because “…They need ice to grip into that is at least 50% of the depth of the metal coils.” It is also important to realise that: “It is very dangerous to wear Yaktrax on polished or shiny indoor surfaces such as vinyl, linoleum, tiles, marble, or polished wooden floors. You are likely to slip badly if wearing Yaktrax on those kinds of surfaces.” |
