Easily the brand of the decade, Bataleon's advanced Triple Base Technology (TBT) construction has revolutionised snowboarding and has spurned the whole trend of rocker in snowboard design as other manufacturers desperately try to catch up. Originating out of Norway, it is the brainchild of genius inventor Jorgen Karlsen (www.karlsen-particle.com). By looking at how a snowboard works and by taking a completely leftfield approach Bataleon have created some of the best boards on the market and have completely redefined what people expect from a snowboard. Triple base is the real deal. It does everything that a normal snowboard does but it does it better. Don't be a fashion victim; lead from the front.
“How does TBT work?”
With TBT your board is flat where it needs to be flat and concaved where you don't want it flat.
It's flat between the bindings where you want the stability and control. It's concaved on the widest part where you want it loose. So it is loose and forgiving when you go straight (or land or butter) and you don't want the edges to be active on the nose and tail. But when you lift your edges in turns it gives you full edge contact again when you do need and want it.
“So your boards are not flat, but what does that mean?”
It means that there is no board like a Bataleon board and no riding experience like the TBT experience. All other boards out there are flat. Yes, also those reversed camber things. 'Cuz when you stand on one of those it still goes flat. Only Bataleon boards are truly never flat. Bataleon was the first to come up with this simple but effective solution in board geometry. Now that everyone out there smelled the coffee and does their best to come up with similar solutions to counter the problem of a flat board which is not aggressive for freestyle, it is time we explain why TBT is still not like anything out there...
The main reason why nobody else has what we have is because we patented our technology. All other solutions have some benefits over a conventional flat board but only Triple Base benefits your snowboarding on every level, in all circumstances, without any known negative side effects. The list of advantages is long and listed below but it comes down to this...

Yes, TBT is basically better for all kinds of snowboarding. And, yes, we dare to say it is also better than the much hyped reversed camber, as TBT has all the advantages of reversed camber without losing out on the advantages of camber like fast edge-to-edge and more control at high speeds... So it's like reversed camber with camber and then better...
