On April 10th 2010 Cairngorm Mountain will host the Dawn Of The Shred snowboard comp. We were lucky enough to be up at the mountain a couple of weeks ago and there is still boat loads of snow around and with more forecast this week the park will be in amazing shape. Registration takes place in the T-Bar and entry fee is just £10. The Snowboard Asylum and VANS are supporting the comp so there will be plenty of swag up for grabs including snowboards, boots, outerwear, shoes, snowboard bags, helmets, tee shirts, stickers and a whole host of other goodies. We also hear there will be a host of the UK’s top riders heading up to make this comp one to remember.
After the competition prize giving will take place at the Doo Below in Aviemore from 5pm and VANS will have free hot waffles on hand to soak up the days riding. If all that wasn’t enough in the evening those death punk snowboarders Dalikfodda will host an after party in The Vault night club from 10pm, so make sure you have your rock head firmly locked on.
