BOARD SELECTOR™ - 07/08 boards loaded!

This unique idea has met with a hugely positive response. The Board Selector™ defines the design characteristics of each board. It is not a guide to the relative performance of all boards - more a clarification of each board's individual characteristics, assisting you in choosing a model that is ideally suited to your own personal riding style. We have devided the Selecta into four main areas covering the most important points all riders look for when buying a board. Using The Board Selector™ - firstly decide on the style of riding you will be doing, then assess your ability level to decide on the desired level of friendliness of the board. It is also important to select the board that fits your own personal weight category. As a guide, remember that a score of 5 gives adequate performance in a specific category and that a board exclusively designed for one category will naturaly suffer in other categories.

How easy the board is to ride in fresh snow, does the nose come up easily and can you ride it without having to hang over the back of the board.	1-3	4-6	7+

How easy the board is to ride, high numbers give a really forgiving ride, perfect for beginners, low numbers give a really aggressive ride and are only suitable for advanced riders.		4-6	7+

We see board testing as a crucial part of our staff training. How can shop staff confidently talk to somebody about a board without having had the experience of riding it? That’s why we take our staff away testing boards over the summer.
