Utilising some of the most advanced materials, shape profiles and geometries available the Figment is a true tour-de-force of snowboard design and construction. With a spec and performance comparable with boards costing nearly twice as much it offers riders the ultimate in performance at the price of other brands mid range boards. Constructed from a carefully selected low density, precision milled poplar core and structural layers formed from a combination of lightweight glass fibre optimized by carbon fibre running at 90°, the Figment combines super light weight with a torsionally responsive flex. This flex matches perfectly with Artec’s state of the art Asymmetrical Omega Sidecut. This unique technology features a more aggressive heelside sidecut matched with a mellower sidecut along the toe edge to balance out the effort between both turns making for an easier and more responsive feel, this works in harmony with the exclusive Omega sidecut profile which replaces the traditional round sidecut at the tip and tail with a straight sidecut. Add into this mix the visco-elastic damped sidewalls and super fast AlphaTec base and you have one of the most advanced high performance snowboards on the market.
