Disaster 11/12

catalogue ref: 800612

WHAT WE SAY: The Disaster is the first new board in the Bataleon line and the first pure Jib specific board they have ever made. Featuring a wider flatter section through the front and back part of the board which runs into a smaller flat section through the centre has created a looser and more skate like ride, also by lifting the edges off the snow from under the feet Bataleon have the increased the boards stability. It’s this stability and confidence inspiring ride that firmly slaps the Disaster at the top of the tree for urban and park jib boards. A no brainer.

WHAT THEY SAY: You know what they say about dogs looking like their owners? Well, if your job, paycheck, wallet, life and relationship is a disaster then this is the board for you. It’s our more affordable jib board, getting your presses higher than your step-dad’s bong. Kick Fido to the curb, this is your new best friend.

Reviewer Summary & Review Rating
Oliver Disaster Review.
This board is perfect for the park rats out there. It is super soft which allows you to get massive flex in your tricks and allows you to butter your way down the slope with ease but it also has the camber so it still allows you to get nice pop from it. The board has a loose forgiving skate feel , the edges are lifted slightly so you have less chance on catching your edges on box’s and rails (A freestylers worst nightmare). The board also has reinforced edges so if you are not quite making it above the rail/box edge and catching you will not blow your edges out straight away.

With blunt tips this board is super fun at slow speeds but not so great when charging. if i were to pigeonhole it, the Disaster would fit perfectly in the jib category. The mellower TBT felt more forgiving and gave this board a really fun feel.
