FREESTYLE ALL TERRAIN SNOWBOARDS

In the past freestyle boards would have had a separate section, but over the years the freestyle board has evolved both in shape and design as well as performance becoming a lot more versatile as a result and moving more towards the catch all All-Terrain category.

The freestyle board is generally a twin tip in shape which means that the board is the same shape both at the tip and tail. This balanced profile gives the rider increased control in the air and is also more predictable when riding backwards (switch).

The binding position can either be centred or set back as can the flex depending on how far the board leans towards being All-Terrain. The flex pattern on a freestyle board is generally a little stiffer than a jib board usually sitting between mid soft to mid stiffness however high end freestyle boards are normally quite stiff through the length to give extra power off jumps and kickers. The freestyle board is a great choice if you want a board that you can take in the park but still be able to ride over the whole mountain.
