This powerful lantern features a versatile design that allows it to be used in a variety of backcountry scenarios. Foldable legs and hang loop provide endless placement opportunities while a dimmer switch gives adjustable lighting levels. Power is provided by either 4 AA batteries providing up to 60 hours of light or a rechargeable battery kit which can be purchased separately.

| Angus | don't even think about getting anything else! designed for light! (& lots of it)the throw has to be seen to be believed. proper screws (if you are nosey) ensure rugged construction & good solid fit...hopefully longevity of the apollo also. The assurity of controlled one touch dimming is great for stretching out battery life or simply providing enough light for the job in hand. it's not a petzl nor is it meant to be, great adjustable span of lighting which impresses me every time I use it! shame theres no solar charger for this item as an extra, which could really add to the versatility of this product without having to depend so much on batteries for long trips. definitely recommend this to all & sundry, see what led is truly capable of compared to the tat available elsewhere. |
