NELSON'S TOUR DE TEST VALLEY
THE TSA ARE RIDING IN MEMORY OF NELSON PRATT
On September the 7th a team from The Snowboard Asylum will be taking part in the 50 mile Tour De Test Valley. This cycle sportive was set up to celebrate the life of our good friend and team rider Nelson Pratt who so tragically took his own life last year. This event although a celebration of Nelsons life is aiming to raise money for the charity C.A.L.M.
C.A.L.M (Campaign Against Living Miserably) offers support and timely help to men who have reached a point where they feel that taking their own life is the only solution. Suicide now accounts for more deaths of young males than road traffic accidents, murders and HIV/AIDS deaths combined. C.A.L.M needs all the help it can get to keep their invaluable services going, reaching out to people in desperate need of help. Just talking to the right person at that crucial time can hopefully prevent more families going through the heartache, pain and tragic soul searching that the suicide of a loved one leaves.
So please support our band of unfit middle age snowboarders who are trying to crawl their way over 50 miles against a bunch of highly toned athletes. For every £ you donate we’ll dig a bit deeper, we’ll ride harder through those wheezy chest coughs and push to the very end in memory of our friend. If you would like to donate please visit our Virgin Money Giving page here
