JAMIE NICHOLLS WINTER OLYMPICS

When we tuned into the finals of the Slopestyle and saw TSA rider Jamie Nicholls throw it down we were totally blown away. After that comp Jamie had scored the highest ever finish for an on snow GB Olympic athlete with an amazing 6th place, well for at least for a couple of days until Miss Jones won some shiny metal. So what did the Olympics mean for Jamie?

"The Olympics were something I never grew up thinking I would do, to be honest I never even thought about it and even when slopestyle was in I had my doubts, but that's because everybody else did too, but I changed my mind and just went for it. This was one of the best decisions I ever made.

With having been to the Olympics now and been a finalist has been amazing and to be able to inspire so many back home was all worth it. All I want to do when I was there was to the enjoy the experience and have a good laugh... Which I did! Coming 6th was incredible and to know I was not that many points off a medal is crazy. I'm stoked for sure and now it's back to shredding the mountain with your friends and having a good time!"
