Developed in association with Ethan Morgan the Evil Twin Asym is an evolutionary step up from the standard Evil Twin. Aimed at freestyle riders who are looking for a high performance board that inspires confidence to hit the biggest park booters and stomp those hard landings, the Asym takes freestyle board design to the next level.

Built around a balanced twin tip chassis it has all the control and feel that you could ever need, but what makes this board stand out though is the advanced asymmetric 3BT base profile. This next-generation design has been developed to help offset the biomechanical limitations of the body to drive the heelside edge. By lengthening the flat centre base section on the heelside, and shortening the centre base on the toeside, the Asym creates a more stable ride on the heelside edge offsetting the body's inability to drive the heelside to the same level as the toeside.

It sounds weird but the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and when you ride this you will very quickly see that it really does work, as the board feels equally stable on both toe and heel side.

As with all 3BT boards the Evil Twin Asym utilises a traditional dynamic camber, add this to the extra float that the 3BT gives you and not only do you have a stunning freestyle board you also have board that rides the rest of the mountain like a freeride board.

Internally the Asym shares the same construction as the standard board, so you get a full length poplar wood core reinforced with beech stringers running tip to tail to give great pop through the length, whilst the Tri-Ax structural layers deliver a torsionally responsive ride inspiring confidence to really push the board.

For 2017 Bataleon have added carbon cross bracing (as opposed to Basalt in the standard Evil Twin) under the inserts. This gives an additional dose of pop so you really can boost of kickers and drive the board into and out of the turn.

Finally, the sintered base gives a superfast glide ensuring that you should never come up short again.
