Rider Style
Advanced to expert riders looking for the ultimate in high performance all mountain/freeride performance.

Shape Overview
Built around a fully directional tapered chassis the One's freeriding roots are plain to see. Heading up its high-performance all-mountain shape is the floaty directional nose. Although not as pronounced as some boards in the range, it still delivers class-leading levels of float that isn't a million miles away from that of an out and out powder board. At the tail, the slightly shorter length features the cut back CT profile. This innovative design not only aids sink in the pow, but more importantly, it adds drive and power into the back of the board helping to give the One its class-leading on-piste performance.

Key to The Ones stunning all-terrain performance is the unique Freeride 3BT shape with SideKicks technology. This directional 3BT shape has a narrow centre base with a longer and more pronounced side base uplift area and angle in the nose than in the tail. This increases float at the front of the board as well as improving turn initiation and stability, while the shorter less pronounced 3BT in the tail lets you drive the board through the turn. Finally, the narrow centre base not only delivers swift edge-to-edge transfer but it also works in perfect harmony with the traditional camber to ensure that not only do you have a board that turns easier and with more stability, but you also get a board that is responsive and powerful throughout the turn.

Side Kicks
SideKick increases the side base uplift just outside the widest part of the nose and tail, making turn initiation smoother, increasing float in powder and improving handling of the board in rough terrain.

Internally the One ES is a tour de force of snowboard design and construction, and heading this up is advanced Ultra-Light core. Combining Swiss paulownia and durable poplar it delivers the perfect balance of strength, performance and durability. To this Bataleon then add their state of the art D.R.S.T technology, this inserts carbon tubes into channels milled into the base of the core running parallel to the sidecut. These power up the edges to deliver stunning on edge control and response. Now to give The One it's powerful and dynamic ride, the structural layers are formed from torsionally stiff tri-ax weave glass reinforced with Carbon V Stringers. These run from the inserts to the contact points in the nose, and from the inserts to the flat points of the CT in the tail. This adds extra energy through the length of the board to power up turn initiation and exit even further.

To ensure that The One delivers the fastest ride possible it utilises the high-performance ISO-SPORT 7000 black racing series base. This is the same base material used in alpine ski racing and delivers the fastest glide there is-period.
