When you put seven of the most exciting freestyle riders in a room and tell them to come up with a new board, you know that you're get something a little bit special back. Well, that's exactly what Burton did with the Kilroy crew, and the result is the stunning new Kilroy Process. Aimed unashamedly at freestyle riders this all terrain board has been designed to turn the whole mountain into a playground. Whether searching out side hits on the piste, hitting back country kickers in the pow or lapping the Park, this unique snowboard has it all licked, and, it still rips when you just want to go cruise with your mates.

Sharing much of its DNA with Burton's best-selling Process, the Kilroy crew have put their own inimitable stamp onto the twin tip shape, and in the process of doing so have thrown up more questions than answers. So, moving on from that unique nose shape, the Kilroy Process utilises a traditional camber profile through its length. This steps up pop and gives the board a more dynamic and stable platform under the feet ensuring that you have all the tools at hand to give you the confidence to really push your boundaries.

Internally the Kilroy Process is built around Burton's lightweight Superfly II 800g wood core. This robust wood core has been specially developed to be more durable than the standard 700g core and is the ideal choice for more freestyle focussed boards. To then dial in the optimum freestyle friendly flex, the core is milled with the Squeezebox low core profile. This innovative process reduces the thickness of the core between the bindings to give a softer and more playful feel through the middle of the board. This freestyle influence is then carried over to the structural layers, these are formed from torsionally softer Bi-Ax weave glass, creating a buttery feel and giving the rider the ultimate in slow speed control and manoeuvrability. Finally, to give the Kilroy Process great glide in all conditions Burton fit a high-quality sintered base.
