HIGH-END PARK BOARD THAT CAN RIP THE MOUNTAIN

The Talent Scout is aimed at experienced riders who are looking for a high-performance freestyle driven all-terrain board, which can handle every type of terrain that the mountain can throw at it. Built around a versatile twin tip shape, it delivers all the balance and control that even the most discerning freestyle rider will enjoy. However, thanks to its state of the art Off Axis construction, traditional camber profile and innovative shape it can also put down a run on a par with even the most all terrain focussed boards

Rider Profile
Experienced riders who are looking for a high-performance all terrain board that blends the control and balance of a freestyle board with the ride anything performance of a freeride board.

Shape Overview
The Talent Scout utilises a true twin shape. This is perfectly symmetrical and delivers a balanced ride that's equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. No matter if you're Jibbing, spinning, stomping landings or even just buttering around. The twin shape delivers the ultimate in freestyle balance and stability. Now to ensure the Talent Scout can still achieve excellent performance when just riding around, it features Burtons Innovative Off Axis Frost Bite edges. These offset edges extend out slightly beneath your bindings for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions. Powerful when you need them, playful when you don't, Frostbite Edges are hungry for hard-pack while remaining smooth, flowing, and forgiving.

Profile
As the Talent Scout is all about high-performance riding, anything other than a traditional camber would be pointless. An advocate of powerful turns and poppy precision and rock-solid stability, camber speaks to the core values of board design. Delivering a lively and dynamic ride, camber distributes weight evenly over the entire length of the board for smooth, continuous edge control from tip to tail.

Construction
As the Talent Scout is all about high performance both in the park and out on the mountain, it utilises some of the most up to date construction available. Heading this up is the advanced Off-Axis Squeezebox FSC Super Fly II™ 700G Core with Dualzone™ EGD™. This state of the art offset profiled wood core uses stronger and lighter woods targeted to specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduced weight. To fine tune the core even further, the wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core. This gives consistent edge-hold and added strength. When it comes to the board's structural layers, once again the Talent Scout leads the way, these are formed from Burton's unique 45° Carbon Highlights glass. Carbon Highlights optimises each layer of the fibreglass matrix and adds a full tip-to-tail carbon layer to reduce weight and fine tune torsional feel to achieve different ride characteristics.

Base
To deliver exceptional performance in all conditions, the Talent Scout utilises a super-fast sintered base material.
