Rider Style
Experienced riders who are looking for a high-performance freeride board that excels in the pow and on the piste, but which can still deliver a great days riding when you want to tour the mountain.

Shape Overview
The Billy Goat is built around a fully directional freeride shape to deliver the perfect balance of stability and float. Eschewing the on-trend blunt nose profile for a more traditional longer round nose and shorter round tail shape, the Billy Goat gives effortless float in the pow, while allowing you to power up the tail to drive the board through the carve. Now one of the things that you'll notice when you ride this board is just how solid and stable it is on edge. This is in part due to the Magne Traction sidecut which places seven strategically located edge serrations along the length of the sidecut. These add extra traction points ensuring that you get unrivalled edge hold and control.

As the Billy Goat is all about performance, Gnu fit it with the C3 Camber profile. This performance profile blends aggressive cambers from the contact points to the inserts with a mild rocker between the feet. This unique profile delivers all the drive and stability you get from a traditional camber but adds an element of freestyle feel without compromising any of that drive and power.

Internally the Billy Goat utilises Gnu's Unreal G2 construction. This is headed up by the Unreal II wood core which combines poplar and lightweight paulownia to deliver the perfect balance of pop and power without compromising weight and durability. To this Gnu then form their structural layers from a combination of tri-ax and bi-ax glass allowing the board's designers to dial in the perfect flex through the length with a more responsive torsional flex for when you need increased control and response.

To ensure that the Billy Goat doesn't waste any of its high performance, Gnu fit it with their sintered base. This fast and robust base material has excellent wax hold and delivers great performance across a wide spectrum of snow conditions.
