Katie Ormerod

Katie started snowboarding at Halifax dry slope aged five. At the same time, she was competing in gymnastics developing her balance and spatial awareness. This was more than evident when she was the first ever women to land a 1080 double cork, aged just 16.

She is now a competitor on the Worldcup Tour, Dew Tour and the X-Games where she regularly places on the podium. At the Pyeongchang Olympics, a broken heel stopped her from competing; she soon got over the disappointment and is now ready for another season competing at the highest level.
