TSA PRESENTS - SINCE '89 PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION - 11th to 13th OCTOBER, LONDON
TSA are proud to present Since '89, a photography exhibition showcasing the journey of the UK snowboard scene over the last 35 years. Not one to be missed and packed full of nostalgia, here's what's in store...
"A unique photography exhibition, Since ‘89 delves into the
journey of the UK snowboard scene over the past 35 years.
Through three and a half decades of photography, we’re taken
on a trip down memory lane watching the British scene grow
from an underground subculture driven by a small band of misfits,
through its acceleration into the mainstream during the ‘90s and
‘00s, to the sport’s most recent explosion in popularity thanks to
the success of homegrown athletes on the global stage.
Curated by the editorial team at The Reason Snowboard
Magazine, Since ’89’s collection of imagery showcases UK
snowboarding in all its guises, from the rough and ready, DIY
dryslope sessions of the early days to behind-the-scenes shots
of the podium-topping careers of recent generations. The
archives have been well and truly exhumed to serve up nostalgia
on a platter and a candid look into the beating heart of British
snowboarding over the years."
The show runs from 11th to 13th October at the London’s Copeland
Gallery, Peckham, London, SE15 3SN.
