Built around a low profile blunt tip and tail true twin shape, the Name Dropper's innovative wide platform chassis is specially designed to reduce swing weight at the tips and allow you to run shallower angles, delivering the ultimate in board control and increased stability under the feet. This control is then further enhanced with the Flat Top profile which gives the board improved low-speed mobility without compromising its dynamic flex through the length.

This advanced manufacturing process offsets all the key elements of the board's construction to align with the angles of your feet.
The core thickness, the flex and the edge profile are all tuned to give you as much control and feel as possible. Internally the Name Dropper is built around Burton's lightweight Superfly 800G wood core. This features both Squeezebox profiling and Fillet-O-Flex which allows the board designer to manipulate the flex of the board by creating thick and thin zones throughout the length to deliver the perfect riding characteristics. Tt's these zones which are offset in the Off Axis technology. In addition Burton also offset the position of their Frost Bite edge profile. This pushes out the edges under the toes and heels giving a more stable and secure feel on the edge.
To further increase performance the structural layers are then formed from Tri-Ax glass giving the board a more responsive overall ride.
Finally the high-end sintered base delivers a superfast glide in all conditions as well as increasing its resistance to scrapes and impacts.
