Construction
The Blossom is about high performance in the park and on the mountain, so it utilises some of the most advanced construction available. Heading this up is the advanced FSC Super Fly II™ 700G Core with Dualzone™ EGD™. This state-of-the-art wood core uses stronger, lighter woods targeted to specific core areas, providing pop, strength, and reduced weight. The advanced EGD technology flips the wood grain along the toe and heel edges perpendicular to the rest of the core. This grain engineering gives the board a more consistent edge hold and adds strength. Burton forms the structural layers from tri-ax glass to give the Blossom a more versatile all-terrain performance. These layers stiffen up the board torsionally, ensuring that you know it won't let you down when you need it to perform. To add additional pop through the length, the Blossom features the Carbon I Beam, which places strips of carbon running at 0° running tip to tail, creating a poppy backbone to the board.

To deliver a super-fast glide in all conditions, the Paramount uses Burton's exclusive WFO Base. This unique base material Infuses a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered material.
