Built around an innovative true-twin shape that features a slightly longer tip and tail length, matched with a freestyle friendly twin flex, the Talent Scout delivers all the control and feel that you need for technical park riding. However, that extra little bit of length in the tips allows the board to cut through chop with ease whilst giving additional float in the pow, underpinning the more ride anything nature of this board. To ensure that the Talent Scout works equally well on the piste as it does in the park and out on the hill, it utilises a combination of full camber and grippy Frostbite edges. In addition to adding extra pop, the camber also powers up the sidecut along the board's entire length, allowing the pushed-out profiles of those frostbite edges to grip up and lock in the carve.

These offset edges extend out slightly beneath your bindings for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions. Construction
Heading up the Talent Scouts construction is the advanced Off-Axis Squeezebox FSC Super Fly II™ 700G Core with Dualzone™ EGD™. This state of the art offset profiled wood core uses stronger and lighter woods targeted to specific areas of the core, providing pop, strength, and reduced weight. Burton then fine-tunes the core further by running the wood grain perpendicular to the rest of the wood core along the toe and heel edges in two continuous zones. This innovative construction gives improved edge-hold and added strength. The Talent Scout utilises Burton's advanced women-specific Tri-Ax glass when it comes to the board's structural layers. This unique glass fibre has been created specifically for lighter riders, beefing up the board's torsional flex while giving a slightly more compliant ride when compared to traditional tri-ax glass.
