The blunt profile directional twin shape delivers the perfect balance of freestyle control and all-terrain versatility. The low swing weight tips take weight away from the ends giving the board a more neutral feel and giving the rider more control in the air and through the turn. The nose profile also features extended contact points. This innovative technology gives the board class-leading float in deep snow, adding to the all-terrain versatility. The 3D contour base 2.0 adds 3D profiling to the nose and tail, giving the board a smoother edge-to-edge transition and improving lift and float. To give the Twin Sister extra grip when blasting the piste, it utilises Jones’s Traction Tech 3.0 Sidecut. This innovative technology adds additional traction points to the sidecut, allowing the board to rip through even the most bulletproof conditions.

This state-of-the-art base shape features an even balance of a 4mm spoon bevel in the nose and a 4mm spoon bevel in the tail. This spoon shape delivers three distinct benefits to the rider; the first is that it creates a smoother transition from edge to edge, helping give the Mountain Twin its luxury ride. Secondly, it lifts those contact points clear of the snow, creating a smooth, buttery freestyle feel, and finally, it helps channel snow flow under the board, adding additional lift in the pow.
Construction
Not only does the redesigned Twin Sister feature an all-new shape, but it also utilises all-new construction. Heading this up is the addition of the lightweight Control Core. Featuring a 2:1 paulownia/poplar stringer ratio, it gives the perfect balance of weight, durability and pop, creating the perfect foundation for the board. To this, Jones then add structural layers formed from high-quality bi-ax glass. This more compliant glass fibre creates a more natural flexing board that delivers a smooth, progressive ride without compromising performance.
Base
As the Twin Sister is about high performance, Jones gives it their newly developed high-speed Sintered 8000-grade base. This durable material has superb wax-holding properties, so no matter how hard or how long you ride, it’ll deliver a super-fast glide.
