The Obex MIPS is where lightweight construction meets top-end safety. MIPS technology has been used for added rotational impact protection. In-mould construction with an ABS top shell keeps the weight down and adds protection where needed most. Active venting allows airflow to be altered with ease and the size adjustment system provides a tailored fit.

Additional Safety POC have added MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) , a low-friction layer that sits between the liner and shell enabling a small amount of movement between them; in the event of an angled impact or fall, this movement helps to re-direct energy away from the head.
Venting Precise and fully adjustable ventilation can be altered to meet individual needs and weather conditions. Sliding vent covers allow the user to open or close helmet ventilation whilst integrated vents at the front of the helmet allow air to flow through goggles, preventing fogging and keeping vision clear.
Sizing System An interior size-adjustment system allows the wearer to find an ideal fit by simply twisting the dial at the rear.
Construction The hybrid shell uses in-mould construction for maximum comfort while keeping weight to a minimum, and a robust ABS top shell for increased durability. The EPS liner provides shock absorption in the event of an impact.

MIPS HELMET TECHNOLOGY EXPLAINED
MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) MIPS is not a construction as such but a safety feature integrated into the build. MIPS reduces rotational forces on the brain caused by angled impacts to the head. In a MIPS helmet the shell and the liner are separated by a low friction layer. When subjected to an angled impact, the low friction layer allows the helmet to slide relative to the head, absorbing much of the energy.

Express orders placed after 1pm (GMT) on Fridays will be dispatched on Mondays. Orders placed on Saturdays or Sundays will be dispatched by Tuesday.

Free delivery is available for all orders sent with economy delivery.
In the UK we use DPD Local and Royal Mail to deliver our parcels. If your parcel is small and of low value, we will send it via Royal Mail Tracked 48. Other items will be sent via DPD Local. Physical Gift Vouchers are sent with Royal Mail 1st Class. We will send you an email once we have packed your order. Further tracking information will be sent directly from the courier.

Free Click and Collect In-store
Free Click and Collect is available for all products on the website. At checkout, select Click and Collect as your delivery option. Then, choose the most convenient store to collect your order from.
You will receive an email to confirm your order. You will get a second message when your order is ready to collect.
Items in stock at your chosen store should be available within 24 hours of ordering. If we need to take items from another store or warehouse, it will take between 2 and 5 working days before they are available to collect.
International Delivery
Delivery timeframes for non-UK delivery vary depending on location, and take between 2 – 9 days. Similarly, non UK delivery charges start at £13 for Europe and go up to £30 for Southern hemisphere regions. For more detailed information please visit our international delivery page. Please note that the prices we quote on this page are for standard deliveries, i.e. parcel weight and size restrictions apply. For non-standard deliveries, e.g. skis and snowboards, our customer service team will contact you once you’ve placed the order to discuss any additional payment required.
Returns
Returns must be made within 30 days of receiving the goods, and we will issue a refund within 7 working days of the goods being sent back to us. When you receive your order there will be a returns form inside, so please complete this and send back with the returned goods. Return postage must be paid by the customer for unwanted goods, and we offer a variety of ways for you to make a return e.g. taking to one of our stores free of charge, or Post Office drop off for £2.50.
