The Women's Basic's twin shape gives it a more balanced freestyle feel, so it rides great on the mountain, but it's entirely at home when you want to hit the park. However, what makes the Women's Basic a genuinely outstanding board is the addition of the unique UnderBite Edge profile. UnderBite edges re-distribute the rider's weight to enhance ease of turning and edge hold. Creating divots inward at the binding area disrupts the flow of energy along the surface of the edge that's in contact with the snow while the board is turning. This disruption directs your weight/energy into the areas where it's needed most, from the bindings to the contact points and through the centre of the board where the carving arc takes place. This segmenting of the sidecut into three principal zones focuses your body weight into areas that initiate, hold and release turns.
Profile
The Women's Basic's 3-3-3 CamRock profile combines even rocker zones at the tip and tail with an even camber through the middle of the board. This innovative profile creates hook-free zones at the contact points, ensuring you get a more reassuring feel when riding rails or pressing boxes. That rockered uplift at the front also adds extra float in the pow, so even though the Women's Basic is a twin, it still delivers outstanding performance over the whole mountain. Construction

However, that's not bad because YES uses a high-quality poplar wood core wrapped with high-quality bi-ax glass fibre.
