The Yeasayer’s versatile ride, anything and everywhere shape combined with the more relaxed Flying V profile, delivers a playful yet responsive board perfect for anyone who wants a snowboard to strap into, get out, and ride everything that the mountain puts in their path. Built around a balanced freestyle-inspired twin shape and featuring Burton’s swing weight-reducing Scoop Tips, the Yeasayer’s gives you the perfect level of balance and control, ensuring that when you hit up the park, it’s going to give you the confidence to try new things. However, when you want to get out and explore the resort, the versatile Flying V profile with grippy Frostbite edges means that no matter if you’re hitting up fresh lines or cruising groomers, the Yeasayer Flying V is still going to feel at home. To put it more simply, the Yeasayer Flying V works great in the park and great out on the mountain; in other words, it’s the perfect daily driver for anyone who prefers a more surfy mellow ride but who are unwilling to compromise on all terrain versatility, be that experienced riders or beginners.
Rider Profile: Riders of all ability levels looking for a more mellow all-terrain ride
The Yeahsayer is aimed at riders of all ability levels looking for a versatile and easy-going all-terrain board that delivers a mellow ride without feeling underpowered.
Shape Overview: Twin Tip
The Yeasayer is built around a fully balanced, versatile twin-tip shape. This innovative low-swing weight design delivers a balanced overall ride, ensuring you get all the control and feel you need. However, thanks to the innovative nose and tail profile and long effective edge, it also delivers excellent performance over the whole mountain, ensuring that the Yeasayer is versatile. One of the key reasons that the Yeasayer is so good when riding the whole mountain is down to the innovative Frost Bite edges. Frostbite Edges extend out slightly beneath your bindings for tremendous edge hold in hard, icy conditions. Powerful when you need them, playful when you don’t.
Profile: Flying V
Burton utilises their state of the art Flying V profile to help the Yeahsayer deliver its full range of performance. A blend of camber and rocker performance, Flying V™ offers the best of both worlds. Rocker overall, including between and outside your feet, enhances playfulness and float. Subtle camber zones focus edge control for crisp snap, added pop, and powerful turns underneath your feet.
Construction
Burton combines modern technology and traditional construction to deliver the Yeasayer’s easy-going and forgiving all-terrain ride. Heading this up is the advanced FSC™ Certified Super Fly® 800G Core with Dualzone™ EGD™. This state-of-the-art wood core utilises dual-density vertical laminations of alternating softwood/hardwood to reduce overall weight without sacrificing strength or performance. To help dial in the Yeasayer’s perfect easy-going flex, the core is re-profiled with Squeezebox Low. This creates Stiffer zones just outside the feet, creating a more direct energy transfer to the tip and tail while enabling a softer, smoother flex between the bindings. To ensure that the Yeasayer isn’t overly soft and to make sure it performs when you want to push it a little more, Burton creates the structural layers from their torsionally responsive women-specific tri ax glass. These help increase strength as well as power up the board.
