The Outerspace Living utilises a freestyle-inspired Directional twin chassis. This versatile shape delivers a balanced overall ride and exceptional performance over the whole mountain.
Profile
As the Outerspace Living is all about delivering its performance across various riding styles and conditions, it utilises the versatile RESORT V3 Profile. This ride-anything profile combines raised camber platform through the inserts for high-speed edge hold, elevated contact points for solid landings and increased float in powder, and traditional tip and tail arcs for smoother transitions.
Construction
Heading up the Outerspace Living’s versatile construction is the FSC-certified Dual Core. This lightweight poplar and beech reinforced wood core provides a consistent and dependable feel, ensuring that this board always feels solid and stable under your feet, regardless of where you ride. To this Capita, inlay four Carbon Aramid struts into milled channels on either side of the insert packs. These 20mm thick pre-cured carbon strips add power to the core without compromising torsional flex. Now as the Outer Space living is, at heart, a freestyle board, the structural layers are formed from Capita’s custom-weighted Special Blend Fibreglass. This eco-friendly wet lay-up bi-ax glass delivers the optimum balance of strength and durability with a rider-friendly feel.
Base
The Sintruded Superdrive FX base material delivers benefits of both sintered and extruded bases.
Taking the characteristics and manufacturing techniques used in creating normal extruded base material but using higher pressure and temperature to increase the surface hardness to levels near most sintered bases. This increases the durability while retaining the low-maintenance and carefree lifespan of the board.
