If you're going to be Travis Rice's go-to daily driver, you need to be a little bit special, and that's precisely what the T.Rice Pro is. Aimed at experienced riders looking for a board that can handle every type of terrain and any riding style, this versatile high-performance board is the epitome of an all-mountain snowboard. Built around an advanced diamond-tipped twin shape, the T.Rice Pro delivers a balanced freestyle feel and ride-anything versatility. The advanced low swing weight shape means that when you get this board in the park, you have all the control and feel you need. However, get it out onto the mountain, and the T.Rice Pro instantly transforms from a freestyle board into an all-terrain slayer. It feels exactly the same on the piste and in the pow, delivering a level of performance that you'd swear was that of a piste and pow specific board. In other words, it does everything you'll ever ask of it, and that’s why it's Travis's go to board for when he just wants to get out and shred.
Rider Style: All-Terrain
The T.Rice Pro is the perfect board for experienced riders looking for a high-performance all-terrain board that rides everything and everywhere.
Shape Overview: All-Terrain Twin
The T.Rice Pro's all-terrain shape combines the most up-to-date thinking from freeride and freestyle boards to deliver ultimate ride-everything versatility. Built around a state-of-the-art all-mountain freestyle twin shape, it perfectly balances drive and float. However, thanks to the lightweight blunt nose profile, which reduces swing weight, the T.Rice Pro sacrifices none of its freestyle balance. It utilises Lib-Techs state-of-the-art Magne Traction sidecut to ensure that the T.Rice Pro rips on the piste. This innovative sidecut features seven strategically located edge serrations along the length. These serrations add extra traction points to the edges ensuring that you get unrivalled edge hold and control in even the iciest conditions.
Profile: C2 Camber
The T.Rice Pro is about versatility, so Lib-Tech fits it with their C2 hybrid Rocker/Camber profile. This innovative hybrid profile places mild rocker between your feet with powerful cambers to the tips and tails. This combination delivers the perfect balance of power, pop and precision while enhancing float in deep pow. Also, those aggressive cambers work perfectly with the Magna Traction sidecut to give a stable and confidence-inspiring feeling through the turn.
Construction
Internally the T.Rice Pro utilises Lib-Techs Horsepower construction. Heading this up is advanced Aspen/Paulownia HP core. This super-light wood core increases the % of lightweight Paulownia from 25% to 40% compared to other cores, reducing the overall board weight substantially. However, thanks to the addition of Birch rails running parallel to the edges, Lib-Tech minimise the impact of having a higher percentage of lighter wood by directly adding power into the sidecut. Weight is shaved from both the nose and tail via the HP thin tip construction; this reduces swing weight and gives the board a balanced feel. Adding Basalt stringers integrated into the tri-ax and bi-ax glass structural layers add an extra dimension to the flex, ensuring that even though the T.Rice Pro is light, it never feels compromised when out on the mountain.
