Construction
When it comes to construction, The Day punches well above its weight. Heading up the high-end build is the responsive Universal Core. This durable wood core combines two tip-to-tail bamboo stringers with durable poplar to give a smooth yet poppy feel. The Day's structural layers are then formed torsionally softer bi-ax glass. Fibres running at 0° and 90° ensure that The Day delivers a predictable and playful overall feel. To give the board a more dynamic feel on the piste, Sims then add a carbon stringer running between the insert pack. This stringer gives the board a bit more pop and power through the length without compromising the overall easier going feel.
Base: Standard Racing (Sintered)
