Change over from touring mode to riding mode is quick and easy, thanks to the advanced spring-loaded pin system, ensuring that you can quickly and easily switch over even in the harshest conditions.
Split Disk 2.0: This innovative mounting system is compatible with Unions Mini Disk mounting system and can be used on both splitboards and regular boards. Compatible with both the Voile mounting system and 4x2 snowboards.
Split Pin System: The Union Split System is one of the simplest and quickest mounting systems available. To switch to the Split System to Ride-Mode, s place the binding on the Split Disk 2.0 disc on the board, insert the long pin under the baseplate and you're ready to go. To change the binding back to the Touring-Mode, pull out the pin, place the binding on the touring brackets and then push the pin back in.
SP2 Duraflex CB Baseplate: Blended with carbon fibre, Duraflex CB is lighter and considerably stiffer than typical fibreglass injected nylon parts. Duraflex material was specifically engineered to maintain consistent flex in a wide range of cold temperatures. This combination of materials is perfect for splitboarding as it adds rigidity to the binding ensuring optimal energy transfer back to the board.
Extruded 3D Aluminium Adjustable Heelcup: This allows you to adjust the width of the binding to give you the perfect fit and centring of the boot.
EXP2 Duraflex Highback: This advanced highback has been designed specifically for the demands of splitboarding. It features an adjustable quick-snap forward lean adjuster that goes easily from tour to riding mode with the flick of your fingers.
Exoframe 4.0 Ankle Straps.
Injection moulded ankle strap that gives excellent support, response and comfort. The full profile design spreads load over a larger area while conforming to the shape of the boot.
