Sharing the same highly acclaimed all-terrain shape as the regular Standard, Dustin Craven's Standard Uninc features a bit more oomph to create a stunning board that delivers outstanding performance across the whole mountain. No matter if you're charging high-speed groomer runs, hitting backcountry booters, shredding waist-deep tree runs, or even lapping park kicker lines, this powerful snowboard can handle it all. Built around an advanced Directional Volume twin shape and featuring Yes's advanced mid-bite edge profile, the Standard Uninc delivers the perfect combination of balanced feel and freeride performance, creating a board that excels in all conditions. The extra bit of volume in the nose, combined with the wider zones underfoot, gives you increased float in the pow while giving the board a more balanced feel than you'd usually expect with this kind of snowboard.
Rider Style
The Standard Uninc is aimed at advanced to expert riders looking for a high-performance responsive all-terrain charger that delivers stunning performance no matter where you ride.
Shape Overview
The Standard Uninc's advanced directional twin shape is key to its stunning all-terrain performance. Heading this up is the unique blunt nose profile. Taking its inspiration from the highly acclaimed Optimistic, this state-of-the-art design gives unrivalled levels of lift and float without feeling long and unwieldy. To provide the Standard Uninc with its responsive and stable underfoot feel, it utilises Yes's advanced MidBite edge profile. This innovative design pulls in the edges between the insert packs, cheating the board into riding like it has a narrower waist. This unique design works so well that it allows the designers to increase the board's width under the feet, improving float in pow while also giving a more stable platform for popping off jumps and kickers. Slamback Inserts add extra inserts to set back the stance for those bottomless powder days.
Profile: Camber
The Standard Uninc's Camber is an update of what we would call a traditional camber. By starting the full-length camber profile just after the contact points, you get all the benefits of a traditional camber while delivering a smoother, hook-free ride. The Camber profile dissipates the rider's energy more evenly along the board's edge, giving a more stable and responsive ride as the edge is engaged along its entire length.
Construction
As expected for such a high-performance board, the Standard Uninc's construction utilises some of the most advanced technology available. Heading this up is the state-of-the-art wood core. Combining durable poplar with lightweight paulownia and bamboo stringers running through the centre, the Standard Uninc delivers a powerful and responsive flex through the length while cutting weight to the absolute minimum. Yes then add structural layers formed from a torsionally stiff tri-ax weave glass fibre. This dynamic glass beefs up the torsional flex and ensures that no matter how hard or fast you ride, you know that the Standard Uninc won't let you down. However, that's not all. It also features carbon stringers integrated into the structural layers to add even more pop and power to the board. These additional stringers power up the board through the length, giving a powerful, rock-solid, dependable ride at even the highest speeds.
Base: Sintered
As the Standard Uninc is all about performance, Yes step up the base to a True Sintered material. True Sintered is harder and more expensive than extruded, and it can be faster for those that ride aggressively fast.
