Twin Tips, as their name suggests, are identical in both the tip and tail. The stance reference position is centred in the middle of the board, creating a fully balanced snowboard. Twins perform the same both forwards and backwards. The balanced shape gives the rider more control when spinning.

Asymmetric
A deeper sidecut on the heel edge offsets the body's inability to put as much energy into heelside turns as a toeside turns. You bend your knees to power up the toe edge, as your knees don't bend backwards; you can't do that on the heel edge. The deeper heel edge increases response, balancing the response difference between the toeside and heelside.

Asym MidBite
Midbite steps a section of the sidecut inward between the insert packs. This disruption of the sidecut between the bindings creates a narrower waist width, delivering a quick edge-to-edge response. Under the feet, the board is wider, improving float and stability in the pow whilst also enhancing feel and control when cruising around.
