Shape Overview: True Twin with Mid-Bite
The Rivals state-of-the-art diamond profile blunt profile twin-tip shape delivers a balanced overall feel, ensuring you have all the control and feel you need. By reducing material but still keeping a bit of length, you get all the advantages of a low swing weight but maintain a bit of length for increased versatility. The Rival also features the class-leading MidBite edge profile. This unique design pulls in the edges between the insert packs, allowing the designers to create a wider, more stable board under the feet without compromising the edge-to-edge feel and response.
Profile
The Rivals Camber is an update of what we would call a traditional camber. By starting the full-length camber profile just after the contact points, you get all the benefits of a conventional camber but also create a smoother, hook-free ride. This updated Camber profile dissipates the rider's energy more evenly along the board's edge, giving a more stable and responsive ride as the edge is engaged along its entire length.
