Combining a full volume powder focussed nose with a short volume-shifted outline and cut out swallow tail, the Fish 3D is designed from the ground up to deliver outstanding powder board performance. That big nose gives effortless lift in even the lightest snow, whilst the increased surface area keeps the board afloat no matter how fast or slow you ride. The double swallowtail adds acceleration and cornering control, while the reduced length makes for a nimble ride. 3D convex shaping in the tip and tail again help channel snow under the board, giving effortless float and a smoother, more rolled in edge to edge transition.
Profile: Directional Flat Top
Directional Flat Top has no camber or rocker between the feet but has a noticeable rocker in the nose. In deeper snow, this flat profile allows the nose of the board to float up and the board's tail to drop down, providing responsive handling and high stability, especially in deep snow.

This state of the art wood core uses stronger and lighter woods targeted to specific areas of the core, providing pop, strength, and reduced weight. To ensure that the Fish delivers maximum energy to the edges, Burton turns the wood grain along the toe and heel edges perpendicular to the rest of the core. When it comes to the board's structural layers, Burton don't hold anything back with the Fish 3D—formed from Burton's unique 45° Carbon Highlights glass. Carbon Highlights optimises each layer of the fibreglass matrix and adds a full tip-to-tail carbon layer to reduce weight and fine-tune torsional feel to achieve different ride characteristics.
