Directional boards are designed to travel forward. The Shape differs from front to rear, whilst the flex, sidecut and stance are setback from the centre. Directional boards have a longer nose and shorter tail; this increases lift and float. The setback stance and flex enhance carving performance.

Blended Radial Sidecut
Blended Radial sidecuts feature a single radius arc through the midsection of the board combined with a custom designed blend zone at the contact points. Varying the length of these blend zones and tailoring them specifically for certain aspects of riding greatly improves a board’s performance.

Taper
Taper is where the nose of the board is wider than the tail. Taper has two main benefits. Firstly, it allows the tail to sink in deep snow, making powder riding easy. Secondly, it smooths turn exit as the sidecut fades out at the narrow tail.

PLT Topsheet
PLTis an advanced process where the top sheet is applied to the board after it comes out of the press. This process gives a superior finish, enhances graphic depth and reduces weight.
