Fit Profile:
The Ground Control features what can only be described as a snug fit. Don’t confuse this for tight and cramped because that’s just not what it is. This boot is designed for ultimate power transfer, so the liner is created to hold your foot securely. This fit is different from a traditional soft boot, so it’s a case of being prepared for it when you try them on. Once the boot shapes to your feet after a couple of hours, you won’t even notice that secure fit.

Ground Control Specification:
Hard Lower
Taken from hard Alpine Boots, the plastic lower has been designed to create the ultimate interface with the board. Clipping in is via a plate binding, this low distortion lower segment delivers a level of power transfer that you just can't get with a traditional soft boot.
Hybrid Upper
The responsive Hybrid Upper takes its inspiration from Deeluxe’s Pro models to deliver the perfect balance of rock-solid performance but with a more progressive forward flex than you would get with a hard boot. Don’t think the Ground Control is as simple as a stiff lower and soft upper. This is still a very stiff aggressive boot that has been built for performance. It’s just more versatile and rider-friendly that a hard boot.
Dual Zone Coiler Boa Closure
The tongue mounted H3+ Coiler is the top closure point for the boot. Geared at a ratio of 4:1, it tightens the top half of the boot quickly and effortlessly. To tension the bottom half of the boot, Deeluxe use a secondary H3+ Coiler to let you dial in the perfect tightness. This Dual Zone system gives you complete independence of the top and bottom halves of the boot, allowing you to almost instantly dial in the perfect fit and flex for whatever terrain you want to ride.
Top Power Strap
To ensure that the upper delivers the ultimate in response, it features an external power strap. When tightened this pulls the outer and the liner together, ensuring that these two separate elements work in total harmony to deliver lightning fast power transfer.
Custom Fit Liner
The Custom Fit Liner allows you to get the perfect fit. The built-in J Bars lock your heel down whilst the built-in power strap ensures that any play in the top of the liner is reduced to a minimum ensuring that all movement is transferred to the board.
