Shape Overview

The ATV utilises an all-new advanced all-terrain Directional twin shape designed to deliver class-leading performance across multiple riding styles. Its advanced blunt-tipped 3D nose has been designed to provide effortless lift while keeping swing weight to a minimum. The 3D bevelling at the tip and tail channel snow under the board gives excellent lift without needing a long nose and tail profile. With a slightly wider riding platform, the ATV improves its powder performance by increasing surface area while reducing the likelihood of bigger-footed riders dragging their toes and heels. The new singular sidecut features a single deep radius profile which keeps the ATV responsive and dynamic on its edge.

Profile

The ATV is all about ultimate performance across the mountain, so it utilises a new Hybrid Camber profile. This responsive profile combines a full camber before the contact points with flat sections before the nose and tail upturn. These flat sections create pop platforms for powering up ollies whilst the traditional camber through the middle evenly spreads energy along the length of the edges.

Construction

Regarding construction, the ATV’s state-of-the-art build pushes the boundaries of snowboard design and manufacturing. Heading up this build is the state-of-the-art Forever wood core. Constructed from four lightweight wood species—paulownia, spruce, beech and poplar, it delivers a highly tuned and dynamic feel. Being lightweight, durable and filled with pop, this highly reactive wood core is the perfect foundation for the ATV. The robust structural layers are formed from torsionally responsive tri-ax glass. Running fibres at 0° and 45° helps the board resist torsional twists ensuring that it stays responsive and powerful even under full load. To then give the board even more pop and power, Slash adds their Buried Treasure. This mix of carbon, Kevlar and basalt fibres adds a response to the tips without compromising torsional flex between the feet.

Base

Thanks to the addition of carbon and its high-density molecular structure, the sintered HD base provides superior impact resistance and enhanced wax absorbency for sustained speeds.
