Thank U Snowboarding is a celebration of the UK snowboard scene, a deep dive into its journey from ‘Ban This Killer Craze’ to the mainstream and a nostalgia-fuelled look back at the glory years. Each week we’ll sit down with an influential figure, exploring the past, present and future of the sport and remind ourselves why we leapt headfirst down the snowboarding rabbit hole in the first place.

This week Chris Craknell sits down with Juliet Elliot. Juliet's journey is a fascinating one. From the early years of family ski holidays, where she decided to switch to snowboarding when it was just becoming a thing. To doing winter seasons in the alps, and even one with her mum, to eventually riding professionally for Airwalk and then Burton. Then things really got interesting, when she found herself on the cover of Vogue Magazine and later becomming a session guitarist for The Lighting Seeds. Juliet certainly seams to know how to make the most of opportunity. She now finds herself away from the snow and enjoyiong a busy life as a mum of 4 and being widely known for what she now brings to the world of adventure cycling, with her own You Tube channel where she shares her passion for bike and all things adventure.
